For this commercial roofing project at S&T Bank, located in Exton, PA, GSM Roofing was tasked with restoring and upgrading multiple roofing systems. This complex job involved a cedar shake tear-off and new installation, an EPDM roof recovery on two sections, an S-5 snow rail installation, and a metal roof coating application.

Scope of Work
EPDM Roof Recovery: Both existing EPDM roof sections were upgraded with new ½” HD board and adhered EPDM. This included navigating tight workspaces and delicate installations around several condensing units.
Cedar Shake Installation: We removed deteriorated cedar shakes, installed new decking as needed, and laid Cedair Cedar Breather Mat. Our team then installed 2,700 square feet of Waldrun Western Red Cedar 24” Premium Shakes, sourced from British Columbia, and crafted custom copper flashings for added durability.
Snow Rail Installation: 200 linear feet of S-5 snow rails were installed to provide added safety and prevent snow slides on the roof.
Metal Roof Coating: We applied an aluminum-based coating to the rear metal roof section, enhancing its longevity and resistance to the elements.
